Another parallel is, then:

A) 30's "Isolationists" Henry Ford and Charles Lindbergh wanting to keep us out of war (but actually Nazi sympathizers), and now:

B) 2020s "Isolationists" Trump, Carlson, DeSantis, Bannon wanting to "keep us out of war" (but actually Putin loving, fascist white supremacists)

From an anthropological standpoint, too high male-female ratio (ie too much time elapsed since last war) creates a kind of runaway machismo reminiscent of Franco, Mussolini, Hitler, Stalin, Trump, Putin. Meanwhile far lefties almost live up to their effete reputations, buying into isolationist policies and playing role of Fascist and anti Christian boogeymen patsies. Next it is left to the sensible hard-working, child-raising moderates (like my WW I & II father/grandfather, all male ancestors going back to Civil, Rev, King Phillip's, English Civil War) to actually fight the wars, make a sensible peace, and make things right until cycle repeats.
