Apparently, Pictic Y-DNA has been identified (and 7% of modern Scottish men carry it?https://www.englishmonarchs.co.uk/picts.html#:~:text=Pictish%20DNA,of%20the%20last%20Ice%20Age. ) There is not enough information on those interesting Picts! Sad that many modern haplotypes show the Y-DNA of the conquerors and the Mitochondrial DNA of the conquered, which all suggests we're the products of genocide(s)? Like Algonquin Indians, the Picts were largely "absorbed" into the Viking and Gaelic mass?
