...because CO2 is but one of the factors in warming, the big one likely the "runaway" albedo effect (ice melting, earth losing sunlight reflectivity thereby absorbing more heat). Also, no one knows how much natural methane may escape when ice recedes. Good that renewables growing, but we may need some kind of geoengineering/methane sequestering in addition to solve problem.
