Being buried in Russia-Ukraine Medium articles, it's nice to get news about developments in China. Yes, I'd think the loss in manufacturing opportunities would hit China hard, but as you say, they're developing their own capabilities. The question might be whether a repressive government can foster the necessary innovation.
