Captain Kangaroo was among some not-so-good kid's programming in the 60s. Fortunately, there was the Disney programming (Mousketeers & cartoons) plus the 30s-40s Warner Bros/Ub Iwerks classics., plus L'il Rascals/3 Stooges reruns. Nobody talks about Tom Terrific (from C.K.), Clutch Cargo, Pixie & Dixie, Huckleberry Hound anymore and that's probably for the best.
