Despite Harris winning the debate, the polls haven't moved that much.

1) I was hoping that Trump would have his Captain Queeg/Caine Mutiny "Ah, but the strawberries, that's where I had them...", or at least a "You're damn right I ordered the Code Red!" moments (or perhaps talking to his pointer-finger puppet while they carried him away). All we got was "Haitians eating pets", which his base lapped up dutifully.

2) People are saying he's got early dementia, etc, but I see more or less the same guy I saw in 2016, a lying S.O.B., but assertive and competent to those who don't know any better.

3) Sadly, Trump's "high floor/low ceiling" (plus some polling station gooning) may be enough to win those confused swing-states.

4) Let's hope Harris, Taylor Swift and others will compel enough young voters to register, and prevent this doomsday scenario.
