Funny that Valerie Harper (Rhoda) was not Jewish in real life, sorta like how Rachel Brosnahan was not real-life Jewish in "The Marvelous Ms. Maisel" (her "Maisel" parents are also real-life Lebanese & Tanzanian). In Frasier, three hyper straight guys are gay in real-life. Maybe Hollywood likes to flip the stereotypes on us as a sly joke, or maybe only cares about acting? At this point, hats off to the late Carl Reiner, who created Rob/Laura & was the "Godfather" of so much modern American comedy.
