Good points:

1) This turn of events has really helped Biden, perhaps obscuring some of his other weaknesses. Will be interesting to see if McCarthy puppet masters will allow continued Ukraine funding against their buddy Putin.

2) North America continues to thrive by its distance from enemies, industrial output, wealth of natural resources

a) Events really favoring N American fossil fuel and liq. natural gas delivery to Europe (sorry renewable enthusiasts)

b) China must be rethinking things in light of Russian failures (Taiwan invasion a Ukraine redux?).

3) Russia-Ukraine is really changing how wars are fought:

a) Favors fast (and expensive) missiles, anything slow (ie ships, slower aircraft?) is threatened?

b) Drones and tanks are now sitting ducks?

c) REALLY favors motivated freedom seekers willing to fight, nothing to lose. With new killing powers, soldiers have to be hecka brave, much of world's youth not buying into proposed glory of war.

4) As such, there are many economic/democratic overtones. Winners seem to be those w democratic/capitalistic advantage. China/Russia/Iran won't cooperate? Move the world's business elsewhere! Can bad guys generate enough internal business? Maybe not.

5) China/Russia/Iran dissidents (ones not swayed by repression and lies, usually the smart ones) find a way to escape and work for the West.
