Good points, since Russia has gone rogue, China must now decide if they want to give up trade with Western nations and any notion of being a world leader in exchange for a few islands in the S China Sea (which could be a war of attrition since they will be opposed ala Ukraine with effectively a blockade of shipping to Shanhai etc ports). Meanwhile, the US and Western Nations must ponder whether they're willing to send troops/sacrifice lives/possibly face a raining of missiles over all this.
