I bought the first two post-Beatles Lennon albums as a soph in high school and played the crap out of them (many of your picks were on these two). This was during his "primal scream" stage, but I didn't fully understand that at the time. Even then, we were trying to subtract out the Yoko part while wondering "why does he let her contaminate his work?" (A: While uncommonly direct and thoughtful, he also had a needy Mommy thing?) I would add:
1) Love-I always thought it was one of his best, didn't seem to get much air play. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MUTz3LQEq1Q
2) Magical Misery Tour (not Lennon actually, but a great National Lampoon spoof of his songs at the time) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7qrMEEN6WxM
