I guess Israel is our hedge against rogue Islamic countries just as Ukraine is our hedge against rogue Russia (and Taiwan against rogue PRC). This pushback has kept a relative peace. I suppose creating a UN 242 Palestinian State now (for peace, perhaps with condition that Hamas and Netanyahu stand down permanently) would be like Ukraine giving up Donbas and Crimea for peace (and requiring Putin and Zelensky to stand down), which might set the table for new conflicts. The arrogant bullying tactics of Zionists against Palestinians/Armenians create bad optics for Israel's backers (this would be like Zelensky bullying Cossacks, Tartars, Romani etc). People also need to stop saying criticism of Zionism is "Anti-Semitism", we can be critical of Trump/MAGA without being "Anti-American", right?
