I just watched "Band of Brothers", and noted how members of Easy Co/101st wanted to "hold the line" at Bastogne even when they were wounded. The loyalty/duty notions that set in trumped the fear of death (funny I used the word "trump", effin' draft dodger). It seems Ukraine has those notions, and if so very hard to beat. Makes me wonder if our Country's future soldiers will have that loyalty/duty, or the tentativeness of the Russian soldiers.
