I keep thinking about my high school history teacher saying that the political scale converged at the extremes. As such, there is really just two groups, extreme and moderate. Amazing how woo-woo antivaxers appeared at Jan 6th, both extremes love home-schools, hate vax & Hillary, question military support of Ukraine, entertain conspiracy theories, increasingly joining to hate on the elites. My brother and I went to UCB, many great people but indeed many commies and weirdos, many perhaps trying to get attention in any way possible.
