I ordinarily don't allow myself to believe in conspiracies, and spend most of my time shooting them down (so to speak), but yes...I wouldn't put it past a guy like Trump to stage these things. As you say, the lack of security during the 1st one was puzzling, plus interviewers have noticed little damage to the ear. True, the perp was killed, but could he have been a stooge? Granted its not likely, but what if Roger Stone's ultimate "dirty trick" was to have hired a stooge/marksman take a few non-threatening shots (even killing another hero/stooge for credibility), then having Trump activate a blood capsule? It all seems designed to embellish Trump as a kind of robust "combat" survivor, while blaming the Left for "yet another of their conspiracies" (Oh that 94 yr old George Soros...what a rascal!). Not sure about Routh, he seems a nut that was caught in a standard Secret Service sweep.
