I sometimes wonder if the removal of Leviticus would solve most Biblical dilemmas, as it seems weird/out of bounds/antiquated on many fronts (ie the lengthy passages about not eating albatross and giving the rabbi a turtle dove when you have your period). Bible definitely promotes heterosexual procreation and fidelity (anthropologists say most all cultures promote "knowing who your Mommy and Daddy are"), but wo Leviticus things like homosexuality become sin-neutral?
