I turn 67 today. Thanks for providing some realism in the face of so many "can this or that help us live forever?" articles. First, there are reciprocal systems at work in our bodies, there's some evidence that at some level, aging cells prevent cancer. Next, the cycle of birth and death is a good thing, as it allows for humans to adapt. Exercise (and to some degree diet and clean environment) is probably the main agent of life extension, but wise people are probably happy to give way in their 90s to well-raised offspring (after a life well-lived).
