I have been following sports since 1960, and been a sports writer for the local newspaper. Though I have a rather encyclopedic knowledge of sports, most of my writing is historical, medical, energy/transportation-themed, political. Thus, when I write about sports, it tends to be at a thinking-person's level, though I do have some great reminiscences within.
