My view is that the core beliefs of Christianity (10 Commandments, New Covenant, Beatitudes) have been slowly surrounded by a sort of historic non-Christian corruption, leading us to the jumbled and confusing message of today. I was raised in an Evangelical community, but went to Presbyterian "Country Club" church, while being raised by Freemasons. My writing often reflects my family's origins in religiously tolerant 1600s Rhode Island and elsewhere.
