I wrote another one about the "state of the art" of cancer treatment. Sorta like cardiovascular disease, 75% may be prevented by diet, exercise, lifestyle (rather eye-popping right there). It also seems that despite all the breakthroughs, surgery/radiation/chemo still the main defense against hard tumors.

CRISPR-CAS, CAR-T, Checkpoint Inhibition, vaccines are promising, but apparently have a long ways to go. As you are saying, some sort of personalized medicine heavy on genetics and blood work are in our futures, less of these invasive procedures that don't really affect the 15% of tumors that are presently going to kill you anyway.
Also, I'm interested in your thread of "if you exercise a lot, it doesn't matter as much what you eat..." I tend to agree, but how much exercise? Are we headed for some kind of personalized regimen, based upon an individual's base metabolism and diet?
