If you really want to mess w the minds of American burger eaters, introduce a 5/16th lb burger?

I'm almost 70 and I remember that A&W was the only burger chain place in our small, dreary, rural town (it would be over 20 years before McDonalds showed up). It was quite a treat for the family to get served their gallon of root beer, Papa/Mama/Baby burgers by carhops, prior to a drive-in movie. To this day, I take the family to the nearest remaining (about 40 miles away) and have several of their root beer mugs in my cupboard. Too bad they lost the "burger wars" to others.
