I'm 67 and have been swimming, walking, rowing, and lifting a total of about 7 hrs a week for a few years now. Funny that my arms, chest, and especially legs are well-toned and muscled, but I can't get rid of some belly fat (and I've tried everything). The last time it disappeared was when I built an addition 5 yrs ago (about 50 hrs/week of constant work, an overall leaner look) but that only lasted until a few months after. Until they invent "liver and intestinal curls", that weight may be hard to lose.
