It is said that Graham was the model for the opportunistic "House of Cards" main character, Francis Underwood (played by Kevin Spacey). Yes, he's a chameleon alright, lips often attached to Trump's butt. But like McConnell, two things set him apart from the shameless Giulianis...he bailed on Trump's attempt to overthrow the election on Jan 6, and he's a staunch supporter of Ukraine. We listened to all the Woodward books on tape about Trump, and apparently McConnell can't stand him (like many other Repubs, but hold their noses), while Graham sees value in riding the fence. These two "rule of law" and "stop Putin" things are hugely important, and reasons to go relatively easy on Mitch and Lindsay. If Graham could actually call out Trump on his appallingly subversive (and disrespectful to people like McCain and my father) "POWs are suckers", I'd actually begin to thinking he had a pair.
