It would seem things might look up for Ukraine in the future.

1) It is the strategic darling of the West, and will get investment for rebuilding, provided it continues to be a brave Democracy that opposes Russia.

2) With Putin's declining health, Finland/Sweden joining NATO, and Russia's military ineptitude on display, there may be regime change in Russia?

3) Would it then be inconceivable that Ukraine/Belarus (and even someday Russia?) join NATO?

I've always wondered how long China and Russia could be friends, as they have some land and ideological issues between them.
