Lay off Maher. He's not perfect, but is one of the more reliable (and watchable) liberal moderate voices out there. Like many that began as liberal libertarians (Mark Twain and Andy Rooney come to mind), I believe he was shocked by the rigidity of the far left (which seems prone to censorship temptations almost like far right? Political horseshoe theory?) Maher has to be civil to the Bannons and Coulters on his show to get his broad spectrum out (and make jokes). Like most of us, he despises MAGA, but probably wonders why the far-left keeps lobbing Trump political soft-balls like "defund the police?" I believe he's spot-on in calling out PC for threatening Libertarianism (which Dems need to take back). He's very quiet on the Feminist front (has gotten burned a few times), but that demographic may need some critiquing when 45% of women voted for the pussy-grabber in 2016? I suppose like me, Maher believes we could win most future elections if we opened our minds, maintained senses of humor, quit renaming schools named "Lincoln", promoted LGBT inclusive marriage & effective government, and quit acting like self-righteous sissies.
