Look, I'm a British American myself and support the British cause, yet as a contribution, look at the numbers...Pacific War Online Encyclopedia states that Pacific Theater produced 111,606 US and 5,670 UK War dead. Overall, Wikipedia reports 407,300 US and 383,700 UK WW II war dead, US casualties almost double at 671,801 (though the British civilian deaths were much higher at 67,200 to 12,100). Both were fighting far away from home (in most instances) for a similar cause, just saying the US had greater impact (and losses) in the Pacific. You're welcome.
