Most presidents have a) a brother that seems strange/incompetent by comparison and b) a VP that seems like a bit of a dud. Though Harris can seem overly defensive and unrelatable at times, I submit that she's been put in a bad position so as to fulfill b), which 1) takes the dirty work off the Prez's hands and 2) makes the Prez look good. Remember that the "border situation" is politically thorny these days given our political divide. Yes, a few may be up for political asylum, but do we want a 50,000 person Honduran caravan crashing the country's gates which may lead to losing the Senate/House during the midterms? Best for Biden/Harris to hang onto power and hope for more jobs/stability/cooperation in North/Central American (and someday a rational/systematic immigration policy). Being a Bay Area guy, I've known a few that have worked for Kamala...most say she was an overly ambitious b*tch (but I've known people that said the same about highly effective Barbara Boxer). She could work on her relatability, but lets give her a chance and realize that she's also smart, tough, and put in a bad situation.
