On the other hand, if the penalties for reading things critical to Putin and Oligarchs are so severe, it would seem prudent for more sanctions (esp. oil embargo) plus countries to join NATO (ie Sweden, Finland) and efforts to help defeat Russia militarily (despite Russia's nuclear threat refrain, which they use constantly). I'm thinking WW II Germany here, where after a point, people couldn't leave and the captives were held in check by propaganda and threats...the only solution was military alliance/victory. Also quite important to defeat Le Pen and Trump. With no friends, bad economy, and a bloodied nose, even Putin may rethink aggression? I suppose China is rethinking its strategy now, as military bullying in modern world may = no friends = bad economy?
