People are confused, thinking since "natural" a, b, and c are good, "unnatural" vaccines are bad. Actually, modern vaccines augment a, b, and c, since there are epidemiological bad boys that no amount of "natural" can cure (plus unlike some antibiotics, have proven to be relatively, perhaps overwhelmingly benign). My late wife (later to become a labor and delivery nurse) and I went to "natural childbirth" classes in SF in early 90s. There we learned the "a,b,c's" of good health, vaginal birth, Mom's milk, which became my wife's mantra. Later, the teacher was anti-vax, which we rejected. Looking back, my wife said that 15% of births have complications, and if she were to do a home birth she'd have oxygen and an ambulance standing by. In our free-range chicken business, absolutely fresh air, sunshine, grass are the a,b,c's, but then "anti-vax" of some "natural" farmer's is to naively/irresponsibly ignore the potential of Marek's , Newcastle's, and Coccidiosis, the big poultry "bad boys".
