Personally, my "keto diet" is simply less carbs (about 50 gm/day, which is pretty much what you get even when you're trying to avoid carbs). I'm seldom in ketosis, but it does allow me to avoid all those unnecessary carbs. I too quit bread, ice cream, potatoes mostly.
