Questions:

1) It seems there is not enough of an "underground" to knock off Putin/Russian Nationalists

2) It also seems the Western Press may be underestimating Russia's military capabilities/Ukrainian ability to resist via wishful thinking. After all, Russia can just keep bombarding the Ukraine w/o much fear of direct NATO confrontation due to fear of a nuclear WW3

3) But if Russia/Belarus start bombarding Poland/Baltics, its a new ballgame. NATO and new ally Finland would surely start bombing back (I guess they'd call Russia's nuclear bluff, knowing that NATO may have superior weaponry).

4) All told, it wouldn't seem that Russia would have the firepower/staying power/defenses to "cleanse" Europe, let alone "cleanse" Poland/Baltics. So how smart is all this? Has China promised some kind of backing?

5) The example of "wouldn't the US go to war with Canada if the Russians planted missiles in Quebec" argument is flawed, since this hypothetical retaliatory war would rather justify the planting of missiles in Quebec.
