So what you're saying is that finding the Holy Grail would be the "Holy Grail" of Christian salvation?

It seems 12th-14th Century England was the incubator of many historic legends, Geoffrey of Monmouth's Arthurian one, Robin Hood in "Piers Plowman", Chretrian de Troyes grail legend, and the probably phony King Arthur grave in Glastonbury "discovered" in 1190.

The rule I sorta live by is if the Venerable Bede (672-735, the Encyclopedia Brittanica of his era) didn't write about it, it probably didn't happen.
