Strange that no one really knows the Hun's ethnicity or where they were from (most likely Turkic or Mongol). Some also say Scythian, but that itself is mysterious, perhaps more a confederation than a race, perhaps remants of the R1b Yamnaya of the Ukrainian Steppe. The exact location of the Catalaunian Plains is not known either, if it were perhaps some forensics and DNA would clear up some of the mysteries.
