Summary of British Wars/Genetics of the Past 2000 Years: A Bunch of Germans Killing Germans?
Ok, I am a British-American (with a few drops of German-American blood) who just got back from visiting Europe. I’m trying to understand the British-Isle wars of 1000 years ago, in which ostensibly Anglo-Saxons were fighting Danes, while trying to hold off the Normans and Vikings. But wait a minute…recent discoveries have revealed that most British ancestry is “Germanic”, and the “Vikings” were actually a consortium of races (many Germanic). Since the Danes of that time occupied what is now Germany, and the Normans were Vikings, could it be that this was all Germans fighting Germans fighting Germans? And what does this all say about Nationalities and Races?
Current Human History in a Nutshell: This may be what current science has learned about the history of humanity…after coming out of the trees in East Africa and learning to walk upright about 4 million years ago, Australopithecus spun-off our Homo genus about 1 million years later. Then 1.8 million years ago, Homo Erectus migrated out of Africa and into Eurasia. About 500,000 years ago, Neanderthals and Denisovans migrated north of the 50th parallel (into Northern Europe and Asia respectively).
