Thank you. I suppose the eventualities hinge on a few things:

a) This election, of course. There are many articles now pointing out the dangers of "runaway court-stacking". The key to full takeover, it seems, getting rid of Legislative Branch.

b) Hitler/Mussolini were defeated relatively quickly, but Franco ruled for over 40 years (as did Stalin). Truly, Democracy at risk.

c) Project 2025 and Flynn's comments are almost a "how to" manual for Fascist takeover.

d) I'm reminded also (God forbid) of the 1915 Turkic genocide, when the leadership "the 3 Pashas" ostensibly wanted to maintain National security during WW I (but then gave mobs license to rape & kill "infidels" while taking their property).

e) On a more positive note, I don't think the MAGA mob has enough critical mass for this to happen here, several forces pushing back, including some disgusted Republicans?

f) My late wife's grandparents jailed by Franco, fiance's g-grandparents murdered by Turks, father in Stalag Luft III witnessing some of Holocaust, some 2nd hand knowledge here.
