The apparent upsurge of Nikki Haley (who has not yet turned my stomach) and decline of DeSantis may be an indication that perhaps 50% of Repulicans are realizing that perhaps MAGAs are not nationally electable. Unfortunately, at least 50% of Republicans are still insane lemmings, but if Trump is disqualified and Newsom replaces Biden, perhaps a relatively "centrist" '24 contest (just like the good ol' days).
