The Cretaceous also had 2,000 ppm CO2, ocean levels perhaps 100 m higher (or more), avg temps of 90 d F? A reminder that life on earth has thrived under a multitude of conditions, makes one wonder if the rise of humans coincided w a relatively cold and dry earth (w large temp differences between polar ice and tropical equator so as to stimulate CO2 soaking plankton born of robust ocean currents).
