The Ukraine is about to come out of this looking like the US after WW II, a sort of leader of liberal democracy. I'd imagine the National spirit needed to fight back against Russia goes a long ways towards fighting corruption. The average Russian must now look upon the Ukraine with envy, wishing they had a similar spirit (perhaps even launching a regime change). The Ukraine will get a lot of money to rebuild, and modernize. Putin may yet do something desperate (tactical nukes, chemical weapons, taking nuclear plant hostage) but would be "breaking rules of war" and risking a worse fate. China is rather sheepishly supporting Putin and blaming the West, but it must see itself about to go the Russian route, declining economy on the brink of a risky invasion of Taiwan. Russia/China can only blame the West so much before they look like excuse-making losers, start losing business and political support.
