This all seems possible except for two things: 1) Russia's position as China's strategic ally and 2) Russia's oil/gas reserves and EU dependence on these reserves. A possible 3rd thing is that Russia may be willing to launch ultrasonic nuclear missiles. Will this allow them to prolong this idiocy for several years before they rot from within? The citizenry seems to be buying into the propaganda and/or fear of FSB, which propped up the Soviet Union for many years.
