This more or less brings up the fatalistic ironies of future climate-change tech. While enlightened countries are dutifully creating clean hydrogen and ammonia from renewables to power jets and missiles, rogue nations enjoy several degrees of efficiency by using any fuel they like (probably quick & dirty fossil fuels like kerosene plus nuclear).

It all implies the paramount environmental importance of international cooperation and peace, which is not the current trend. If World War III breaks out, it could be a climate change disaster!

I remember Rush Limbaugh making fun of Libs for worrying about environmental impacts of war, but this is a serious question since up to now, wars have been an "all bets are off" thing. I wonder if there will ever be a Geneva Convention-like thing that requires all of us to wage war with clean fuel? (and there's an article in all this, Mr. Lockett?)
