Yes, DeSantis now looking like he just screwed the sacred Republican "Milton Friedman" family pooch. By choosing a sort of religious sanctimony over the interests of business, he's violating basic free-market principles while looking like a smug Pharisee.

And while I'm on the soapbox here, why not let businesses choose to do as they please? After all most (like Disney, Chick-fil-a, even Cracker Barrell) ultimately choose to honor "diversity" as its good for their business models and bottom lines (which also serve our Country). Some will choose to not make the gay wedding cake (their right I suppose), but plenty of other businesses will step in to fill the gap. If Doctors/Hospitals also have business rights, they why on earth clutter our justice system by giving evil-eye to conflated miscarriages and abortions before 12 weeks, let businesses do their jobs, save justice system for REAL crimes like school shootings.
