Yes, despite the bravado, how long can Ukraine suffer from all this devastation and be expected to be a NATO proxy? I suppose Zelensky needs to push Russia out of Donbas, and then a settlement allowing Russia to keep Crimea while paying war reparations (hopefully with a deposed Putin). Russia may regroup, but next time NATO/Ukraine will be ready for them. Meanwhile, Russia/China may be cut off economically from much of the world, places like India riding the fence. I wonder what will happen when Georgia tries to assert independence (hard to stop Russia on that one). It also seems that N Korea & Iran have itchy trigger fingers, emboldened by perceived support from Russia/China.
