Re: Trump fomenting Civil War, I believe only about 15% of far-right Republicans are "in" (and perhaps were/are colluding with Putin, who formerly might have been helpful, not so much now), as we saw after the Jan 6 riots. About 15% of Repubs publicly repudiate Trump, the rest afraid to buck him and his election denying/foaming-at-the-mouth supporters. In any case, they're in the NRA? So what? That's small-arms stuff, and the MAGA idiots are not the brightest minds. There will likely be an armed "Proud Boys" kind of insurrection, easily put down (and its hard to imagine Kari Lake at the front of it carrying an AK47). Ukraine will win, we'll head toward conflict w China, and all the trigger-happy nuts will be able to focus on that (a unifying event?)
