Your "anti conspiracy conspiracy theory" is gaining much traction, which is bad for me as I always said "the only conspiracy theory I ever believed in was the Kennedy one" (the point being that most conspiracy theories were too weighted down with improbable logistics). I remember watching the History Channel treatment (I know, I know) many years ago, which concluded that Lee Harvey Oswarld actually could have gotten off the, whatever, 3 shots in 15 seconds, etc (their conclusion being he was still a stooge and the CIA had another sniper at grassy knoll to administer coup de grace). Well if you can believe the Lee Harvey Oswald part then....maybe he did act alone? The latter though has its own improbabilities...if he did act alone, why did Jack Ruby off him so quickly? Why all the improbable deaths of accessories in "Executive Action"? As you said it still gnaws at me (who was in 3rd grade, remembers TV coverage almost verbatim to this day)
