The Far Right and its endless name-calling/bullying unfortunately is sort of working. We all thought folks would tire and come to the senses, but so far not enough. I once wrote an article about how to teach your kids to stand up to Trump-type bullying:

Unfortunately, many of the "solutions" seemed to be beating up the bully. Short of that, I believe the following needs to be done:

1) CNN and other outlets are constantly calling Trump on his lies, but the voices of reason need to be louder. In particular, the Obama/Biden people need to better advertise their accomplishments and Trump's failures. Otherwise Trump will falsely blame the Dems (most recently for inflation and higher interest rates). The Dems are too nice.

2) The progressives are the equivalent of the schoolyard snitches who tell the teacher about the bully (this can empower the bully). In these times, the Dems need to be strong, united, tough, willing to go mano-a-mano with the bully (at this juncture, wouldn't it be nice to have someone like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson run for the Dems? (assuming he was coached by the likes of David Axlerod/James Carville)

3) Many signs people are getting "Trump, QAnon, White Supremacy fatigue" but will it happen soon enough? Great that most Repubs back Ukraine, thereby isolating Putin-loving Trump-Carlson-Gosar-Taylor Greene nuts.
