In my lifetime, I believe that bullying generally went from jocks bullying nerds (as in "Revenge of the Nerds") to everyone bullying everyone (as in "13 Reasons Why") Its amazing all the levers of power that bullies currently have! Since Jr Hi/High School are a kind of "pinch points" for bullying (places that you have a hard time escaping), I suppose the best advice is to hide out in sports or other activities, keep your grades up, your eyes down and mouth shut (and start taking college classes ASAP). Having raised a few kids, big difference now is you can't pound the bully and both perp and victim get hauled in for a lecture (ie bully wins). My thoughts here:
